In May 2005, I started shooting underwater video.  I use a Sony HC-1000
3-CCD digital camcorder in an Undersea Video Housing's T-9 housing.  In
November 2005, I added Light & Motion Mini Classic lights.  I use C

for my editing. The following clips require a broadband/
highspeed connection to view.

In March 2012 I got a Backscatter custom housing for my GoPro Hero2 HD
video camera; I added a "Magic Filter" for color correction and a small
Gorilla pod for use underwater.  Here's one of the initial clips (with some
vignetting as I did not have the filter properly seated!).
At the end of an otherwise uneventful
dive, I saw this 5' Bonnethead
swimming toward me.  Fortunately the
camera was ready to run and I got
about 20 seconds of action.

This 350 lb Goliath Grouper lives just
south of Rock Key.  Usually he's
rather skittish, but this time he was
enjoying his cleaning too much to move.

Female Sailfins are very territorial.
When I put a small mirror in front of
this one, she took exception to the
"other" female.
